Positive: Great location. It was clean. The couch and worn in leather chair were fabulous and comfortable. The 2 full bathrooms and open floor plan were perfect for our girls weekend to see the Hollywood Vampires. Loved the record player and records. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, after the sun went down. The wooded area was beautiful. The king size bed was comfortable. The hostess was responsive. There was cold bottled water in the fridge. There are many things to do and see in the area.
Negative: We didn't get much sleep. It hampered the entire vacation. Too hot to sit on the deck during the day. Going outside to turn on the propane tank to cook was unexpected. The entire cabin is NOT air conditioned, only the bedrooms having very noisy a/c units. A tall fan must be left running constantly in the main room or it was too hot and musty. Turning off the a/c unit in the King bedroom and the fan off in the bathroom (it went down to 50), it smells musty; same in the Queen bedroom. 10 hangars are not enough for 2 women with no other place to put clothes. If you need to sleep peacefully or have full on air conditioning and don't want to live out of your suitcase, this is not the place for you.
Summary: We made the best of the cabin with very noisy air conditioning units.
