Wake up each day to the blue Puget Sound waters gazed upon from your queen bed made with fluffy white linens and pillows. This impeccably decorated and newly remodeled home features a fantastic kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining table with comfortable seating for four, and an inviting living area with a large picture window overlooking the sound. We welcome you to make fantastic meals in the fully stocked kitchen all while taking in the sights and soothing sounds of the Saratoga Passage. Local coffee is provided from Black Swan Roasters. Our kitchen also includes basic pantry essentials such as olive oil, flour, sugar and other spices. The BBQ grill is just a few steps from the back door.
Much of the lighting in the home is handmade by the owner and reflects their passion for vintage farm life on the island. The top level bedroom suite is a private sanctuary of peace and calm painted all in white with painted wood floors. Large open closet to tuck away all of your personal essentials. The bed faces directly out to the water so you can sip morning coffee under the covers as you watch for whale spouts or a nightcap as you watch the sunset over Whidbey and the Olympic mountains.
Outside, you'll find a grass lawn, garden and a furnished deck adjacent to the beach with chaise lounges, and a table and chairs plus a couple of steps on to the beach-- ideal for summertime cookouts or just sitting and watching sunsets. This house is part of a quiet and sleepy beach community which will immediately put you into vacation relaxation mode.

And if you'd like to go hiking or just relax on a gorgeous beach, the 486-acre Cama Beach Historical State Park is less than six miles south.

Summary: We simply felt so very welcomed. It felt like staying at a friends home. The house is cozy and very well equipped and decorated with so much love for detail. We loved sitting on the deck by the water and loved the views overlooking the bay. We can’t thank Diane and Mike enough for letting us have our Mom and Dad over to sit on the deck with us and enjoy the peacefulness of madrona beach. Summary: We stayed three nights over 4th of July and it was wonderful. House is clean and comfortable, the yard is great for kids, and the beach is right in front. Beds were great, A/C nice and cool, and kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc. Host checked in regularly to make sure we were doing well and we really appreciated the small personal touches that made the trip special. Plan to stay there again and would definitely recommend.

Summary: This home was amazing. We enjoyed our stay so much. The pictures don’t do the outside patio on the beach justice. So cute and cozy inside. Waking up in the morning with the view of the water was wonderful. The sunsets from the patio and living room were amazing. The house has all you need. The hosts are great and so helpful. I travel a lot to the island and this place will be our top rental in the future.

Summary: This is one awesome cozy oceanfront cottage with great sunset views. Tom and Debbi have an eye for detail and comfort. The cottage is well appointed with quality furnishings, appliances, kitchen ware and so on. Throw in one of the most helpful guest books I’ve encountered plus a bottle of wine and a bag of Black Swan Breakfast Roast Coffee and yeah, these guys know how to make you feel cared for. The only reason for only 4 stars was a parking issue we had. And I’ll preface that by saying no one else appears to have had a similar experience, so perhaps it’s just us. There’s a bit of a dip on the far right side of the entryway to the carport. My low to the ground car found that dip when we first arrived. The front right bumper bottomed out, scratching the lower part of that bumper and underneath it. We figured out how to avoid the dip and for the most part did better. I did talk to Debbi who promised to check it out. And to end on a positive note, Tom and Debbi were very responsive to requests. Despite the parking challenge we would very highly recommend this place.

Summary: This is a special sweet place overlooking the bay. The house has everything one needs and wants and it is beautifully appointed. It was the best VRBO we've ever rented.

Summary: This was one of those places that was better than the pictures could represent. The hosts were amazing and there were so many personal touches that made you feel so welcome. The beds were comfortable. Carport for parking that may be a bit tricky for a vehicle larger than midsize suv. Separate game room that we didn’t end up using but was really cool also. Definitely would stay here again!
