Summary: Alamosa and the San Luis Valley is a very nice place to visit. We visited the Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge to see the migration of Sandhill Cranes migration north to the greater Yellowstone ecosystem, and the Great Sand Dunes National Park, which was something.

Summary: This was a great location for a quick stay in Alamosa to visit the sand dunes national park. Everything went smoothly with our stay and the neighborhood was quiet. We especially enjoyed the back porch and the central location close to everything we needed in town (grocery, coffee shops, restaurants, gas).

Summary: This was the coziest rental property I’ve stayed at while traveling! I loved the fully stocked kitchen, the warm comfortable bed, the detailed welcome book providing guests with suggested places to eat and attractions to visit. The communication was impressive as the dryer wasn’t working right away, but it was fixed minutes later. The home also resides in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood that’s easy to navigate. Easy 30min-drive to the sand dunes. Highly recommend!

Summary: We were so happy to stay at this lovely, clean and wonderfully located home in Alamosa. We went to see the sand dunes but it was cold and windy! So the excellent hosts had left us wrist bands and we had the most awesome and relaxing experience at the Sand Dune recreation, with hot mineral baths, drinks and food. WE really enjoyed this home. There was a beautiful kitchen and the whole place is spotless. Deer walk by in the evening.!
