Positive: It was a lovely location beautiful views from the property and was well equipped. Loved all the nautical nic naks but did have to move to a higher shelf as concerned my son would break them. It was lovely seeing what I assume were photos of the owners family over the years when they have enjoyed the cottage.
Negative: The cottage wasn't very clean unfortunately it had either not been done thoroughly or there guests that had stayed there for a while.
Summary: A lovely holiday let we would return again

Positive: Everything about this property was excellent for the two of us: cleanliness, appearance, heating, kitchen, shower, bed, location etc. The price was expensive, but we were treating ourselves. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay of 3 nights.
Negative: The kitchen could do with coffee making equipment; we took our own cafetiere (having learnt from experience in other places), but this was easy for us as we only live in Lairg. People should be aware this property is situated at the side of the NC500—not clear at first from the postcode; this didn't bother us (it was quiet at night), but it made me think twice about rebooking for my son and small grandchildren.

Positive: It has everything you need, a well equiped kitchen, and comfortable beds. The weather was amazing and sitting up behind the cottage with a beer in the evening after work was very nice. There is a great beach 5 minutes away and a nice hotel and bar just up the road.
