Summary: The host Adrian is amazing, friendly and informative in places to see and do. The Carriage House is well equipped with everything for a self catering holiday, plus washing machine and dryer. Adrian showed us all his vintage cars and horse carriages. Lions Brewery harnesses marked with emblem and the original wagon has pride of place.. I loved the Gypsy van❤️ Adrian has his first car on hand with others- White Ghost Rolls Royce sparkling like new . It was a great honour to view these cars and hear the stories from Adrian.

Summary: We like to find different and if possible unique places of accommodation on our travels and the carriage house full filled that brief exceedingly well. It's the whole package that's unique and the only way to discover this is to book it and discover for yourself. Other reviews will give you a clue. I very rarely give reviews on places but this is an exception for an exceptional package. The house, the location, the host, horses, carriages, vintage cars, The stone house and surrounds and all that the bay of islands has to offer. we stayed five nights, don't forget the stars at night
