Positive: helpful and always smiling staff - spacious apartments - delicious breakfast with typical Thai dishes (also not spicy) - restaurant until evening with a rich menu (even with pizza) and live music - spacious area on the edge of the village (hundreds of birds sing at night and in the morning)

Negative: unfortunately, communication is practically only in Thai or through a translator - smell from the air conditioning - current construction work on nearby land

Positive: Nice, peaceful & comfortable accommodation. Great to be upgraded to a villa with pool. There weren't many other people staying during our 2 nights. Good selection of food at breakfast.

Negative: Breakfast would have been better if the cooked buffet food was kept warm. The vegetables next to the broth were covered in flies - should have been protected like most of the other Buffet food.

Summary: Nice relaxing pit stop on the drive back to Bangkok

Positive: Lots of space for kids to run around. Little pool with slide was great, little playground a bonus. Clean rooms when we first arrived.

Negative: No daily cleaning (emptying the bins and giving it a sweep would be nice). We had so many ants - big red biting ones in the bathroom and then bedroom area it made it really uncomfortable. Children couldn’t play on the floor in fear of getting bitten. Staff all seemed quite young and inexperienced, not overly helpful or welcoming. ‘Family room’ was in fact 2 separate rooms with a shared pool so this didn’t suit our needs with young children at all. We didn’t like the location at all either but that was our fault for not checking it properly before booking.

Summary: Fine for a one night stopover but not the relaxing break we were after.

Positive: Nice spacious room. Clean modern look and comfortable bed. Breakfast was a treat — surprisingly varied and well stocked.

Negative: Common space was in basement and smelled like smoke.

Summary: A surprisingly euro modern decor with a private pool and great breakfast in the middle of seemingly nowhere
