Negative: Bathroom far too small. some staff not friendly or helpful. Cant believe steak in restaurant only comes with chips or mash ie no mushrooms, tomatoes, peas etc.

Positive: The food was fantastic, and did a pre order forr us and kept it warm as we were arriving just after the kitchen closed, which was really good of them. The restaurant, bar and outside are all lovely, smart, trendy. Good furnished setting. All the staff very friendly, helpful and professional. The decor and lights behind the bed were very tastefull and smart, lovely headboard. The live singer in the Restaurant was brilliant, had a lovely voice.
Negative: The downside being that for the money they charge it needs painting as there a marks on the wall, and a big patch of palet missing. The tea making facilities should be on a small table so take the pouffe out. As Its not really good health and safety to place tea and coffee facilities with a boiling kettle straight under a tv. There were only Tea and Coffee, sugar, milk. Thete ought to be as standard a selection like herbal and fruit teas, a couple of biscuits or like choc mints. The free toiletries consist of a tiny bottle of shower gel. No shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, The bathroom was tiny and nowhere to hang towels. The worst part was the room was incredibly hot without the radiator being on and couldn't control room temperature so spent the night sweating as it was roadside you couldn't have window open as you had car noise. Also the bars, and function room was open till 12 to 1am so music throug the floors. We found a fan in the room but it had at least a years worth of dust on which was disgusting and did our best to clean and reported it in the morning. So a toolbox talk to cleaning staff on standards required. I am a Quality Engineer now, but I used to clean holiday cabins out and also train cleaning staff in various buildings. Also a unit had a front piece hanging off the unit. The pillows were too thin and lumpy..
