Positive: Our stay in the one-bedroom pool villa was wonderful. Nestled in the tranquil Petulu jungle, it provided the perfect peaceful sanctuary away from the busy centre of Ubud. The villa itself was stunning, spacious and immaculately clean, beautifully balancing authentic Balinese charm with modern comforts. The absolute highlight was the private pool area where we spent time swimming while looking out at lush, vibrant greenery. Inside the canopy bed was exceptionally comfortable. What truly elevates this property is the hospitality. The staff are some of the warmest, most genuinely attentive people we have encountered. They anticipated our every need, greeted us by name and made us feel entirely at home. Dining was equally wonderful we particularly enjoyed having delicious fresh breakfast looking out to the stunning lush scenery. While the resort is located slightly off the beaten track we considered this a plus as so peaceful and the hotel makes arranging any transport seamless. For anyone seeking a private, rejuvenating getaway in Bali I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough. We are already dreaming of our return!

Positive: An unforgettable honeymoon stay – our BEST experience in Bali Our stay at The Compass Rose Valley was truly exceptional and, without a doubt, the best accommodation and hospitality experience we had in Bali. The new hotel is situated in a beautiful and peaceful area near Ubud, surrounded by lush greenery. It is the perfect place to relax away from the busy centre while still having easy access to Ubud. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to and from Ubud upon booking, which was extremely convenient. What makes this place truly special, however, is its people. The outstanding service, positive and welcoming energy, and genuinely caring atmosphere are created by every single member of this wonderful team. Everyone we met made us feel welcome and looked after, and everything was handled with such warmth, professionalism and attention to detail. Although the team is young, they are clearly experienced, dedicated and passionate about what they do :-). A very special THANK YOU goes to Emik and Agus, the Front Office Managers who weee exceptionally helpful and patient with all our questions. They are such warm, kind, and welcoming persons, and they made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. We would also like to thank the wonderful restaurant team, especially Sang, Bayu, and the Restaurant Manager, Pamawa. Their friendliness, attentiveness and excellent service made every meal a pleasure. The restaurant offers absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared food, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dining experience. We were particularly touched by the beautiful surprise the team prepared for us for our honeymoon. It was completely unexpected and so thoughtful that it brought tears to our eyes. It created a very special moment and an unforgettable memory that we will carry with us throughout our lives. After 4 wonderful nights, we are leaving feeling completely refreshed, relaxed and re-energised, and ready to return to our busy everyday lives.
