Charming, immaculate, pet-friendly poolside cottage on 1-acre estate shaded by grandfather oaks, minutes from FishHawk. Walk to restaurants or drive 15 minutes to golf, tennis, horseback riding, canoe rentals, hiking trails, state parks, wildlife preserves and some of the best mountain bike trails in the state.
Country Retreat is an oasis of tranquility central to all that Florida has to offer. 30 minutes from antique districts, outlet malls, Plant City, downtown Tampa and The Florida Aquarium. 45 minutes to Busch Gardens, less than an hour from Floridas famous beaches, 75 minutes from Orlando with Disney/Universal Studios/Seaworld and two hours from the East Coast with Daytona Beach and Cape Canaveral.
An ideal location to explore Central Florida from coast to coast and an inviting, secluded retreat at the end of the day. Wildlife abounds as horses graze in the adjacent pasture or owls nest in the Oak trees. A unique experience.
The Cottage is charmingly furnished and fully equipped, including clothes washer and dryer, hi-speed internet and satellite ROKU/TV.

Summary: Under the circumstances of a mandatory evacuation and only getting 2 days out of our stay..this was by far our BEST VRBO experience!! Claus thought of everything PLUS!! Description is exact except that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom but it is a true cottage with that being said. Claus was very welcoming, friendly, quick responding and even gave us a partial refund! Felt like we were secluded but everything was just around the corner. Clean, quiet and cozy. We will definitely stay again but longer next time! Thank you Claus for everything..you were fantastic!!

Summary: This "Cottage" is like home away from home, which has everything that one could possibly require. It is VERY clean and comforting. The host, Claus leaves a welcome tray with treats as one arrives. This place is so quiet that you do not realize that you are so close to town, (beaches), it feels like you are in the country. We are already planning a return stay.

Summary: This place was just right for our family of four. Very clean with a spacious, well-stocked kitchen. The location is beautiful, with a park-like backyard and a FANTASTIC pool. You feel very secluded, yet you are less than a mile from groceries and restaurants. We loved it and hope to come back!
