Positive: A very comfortable cottage, warm and inviting. Perfect for exploring the area and house hunting. Well stocked with kitchen supplies. The big bed was very comfortable. There was parking, one space, an outside patio and a barbeque which worked well.

Negative: There was no coffee maker or coffee grinder although a coffee machine was listed under supplies. Also the washing machine and dryer were both out of order. A broom would have been useful to keep tidy as would toilet cleaner.

Positive: The location was central to our sightseeing - Firsbury Ring, Stourhouse, Avebury, Stonehenge, Old Sarum, Salisbury Cathedral, plus local pub for meals and postshop. The owners were helpful when called on.

Negative: We were very happy with the place, the one recommendation is for the owners to park their vehicle a little further to the left to allow easier parking for guests.

Summary: Perfect - would book again if travelling in that area.

Positive: Landlady extremely friendly, good shop and excellent pub (with Indian and local food) nearby. Location seems remote but is not. We highly recommend it.

Positive: Very quiet location in peaceful village, lovely cottage, well equipped and warm for a winter break. Next to handy shop and we enjoyed the mobile fish and chip shop!

Positive: Lovely quiet village and very private ,close to my daughter and a lot of interesting places to visit.

Negative: On the first night I went to cook dinner,took the roasting dish out of the cupboard and it had not been cleaned very well so had to wash it before I could cook!

Positive: We had a great time. The owners were really friendly, the price was really fair. The store next door is run by the owners. It is well stocked and fairly priced - lovely little store (with some decent brews). Within a minute you'll find yourself in the local pub. Food is great - especially the curries. (You can find a decent brew here as well.) We would definitely stay here again.
