The house is situated in the village of Étréham, 10 minutes from Omaha Beach and from the city of Bayeux, 5 minutes from Port-en-Bessin. Its location is perfect to discover the D-Day Landing Beaches. On the slope of a small hill, it offers a beautiful view on the surrounding countryside.
You will have an independent housing on two floors (another floor contains another dwelling), with an independent entrance and garden.
The village is very calm. The house is very well located for visiting the museums and beaches. The house is bright. It consists of an old part and a recent part (the veranda).
We can provide sheets if you wish (10€/double bed, 5€/single bed). If you prefer to bring your own sheets, let us know and we will subtract the cost. We provide one medium sized towel per person.

Summary: Not the property for an older person, precarious stairs. The garden could do with some maintenance, as could the property itself, not fully the same as the pictures online. If you are bringing your own bedding, the pillowcases will not fit, property pillows are square, & not that great. Overall disappointed.

Summary: Very familiar holiday home with a nice garden for families/friends - satisfactory appointed/equipped - in the wonderful area of Étréham/Omaha Beach (appr. 15min. by car) with lots of possibilities and (historic) sights in the Normandy area to enjoy your holiday break. Céline is a very pleasant and supportive landlord, with easy handling the details. Many thanks for the lovely holiday time 😊👍

Summary: This property is located in a small village with farmland to the rear but is close to Bayeaux and the D-Day beaches. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The rooms are light and airy with lots of operable windows to let in the air. A great place if you want to be close to the area attractions and have a quiet space to yourself.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the house while visiting different historic sights. The home was clean and had plenty of space for the 5 of us. Beautiful views from the table to enjoy during breakfast! Easy to communicate with the owner via email. Thank you!

Summary: This location makes it very easy to drive to all D-Day sites. No services in Etréham except for the soul - is is a true village - but it is just 10 min from shopping, fuel, and restaurants in Port au Bessin, and only 20 min to Bayeux. It is very quiet (you’ll hear birds, maybe an occasional chicken or cow), and the view is one of timeless pastoral peacefulness. The downstairs kitchen is functional and nice, and opens to the patio and yard. The upstairs kitchen is basic. Lots of sleeping space and table space, not much lounging space. Has a washing machine. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was good to get “home” every night after the day’s excursions.
