Ideally located a stone’s throw away from the Glenora Ferry, connecting Prince Edward County to Adolphstown. The County Crossing offers easy access to Picton and all the Prince Edward County attractions.
This updated cottage is the perfect getaway destination whether you’re touring the region or looking for some quiet R&R. The comfortable living room with gas fireplace is a perfect spot to relax and unwind. With 2 bedrooms, 1 3-pc bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, you’ll enjoy a carefree vacation. For your convenience we supply all bed linens and towels, and the kitchen pantry is stocked with basic cooking oils and spices. You’ll also enjoy satellite cable television.
With a southern exposure you’ll appreciate the morning sun on the front deck and the tree lined view of The Adolphus Reach on The Bay of Quinte across the road. The front deck offers a cozy seating area around a gas fire table and a gas BBQ for year-round convenience.
We are dog friendly! We kindly ask you to encourage your dog to stay off the furniture and beds and remind you to bring their favourite blanket or dog bed for their comfort. We have a limit of 2 dog guests and apply a pet fee of $20.00/day.
Whether you decide to cross over to Picton on the Glenora Ferry (free year-round service) and enjoy the wineries, restaurants, shops, galleries, Provincial Parks and Beaches of Prince Edward County, or visit the myriad of sites and attractions from Napanee to Kingston; you’ll find endless activities, as well as hiking and biking trails, on either side of the bay!

Summary: We had a lovely time at the County Crossing Cottage! The cottage is very cute and the hosts made everything easy to find and use. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the deck and a glass of wine out there in the evening as well. Taking the ferry was a fun daily experience. The fireflies in the evenings were an unexpected bonus!

Summary: My wife and I got married in early October and were so happy to hear that the County Crossing was available for us and our two dogs. We were able to have a relaxing few days post wedding celebration and enjoyed all the amenities the location had to offer. Although it rained most days we were able to hop on the Ferry and explore. And when we were at the cottage we utilized the outdoor firepit, the deck and enjoyed the coziness inside. Lisa and Glen made us feel very comfortable and the cottage was well stocked with additional necessities. We are already planning to return in 2023.

Summary: Perfect getaway for my husband and I. We hated to leave. We felt so relaxed by the end of our week there. It was exactly what we needed. Comfy beds, fans and A/C as needed. Lisa and Glen had very thoughtfully stocked the cottage with everything we needed and more. Pleasant, prompt and clear communication. We enjoyed catching the ferry any time we felt like exploring PEC, which is a little slice of heaven. We also enjoyed just spending our last day at the cabin. Hope we have the chance to stay again. Summary: The hosts make sure that you have everything you need for a warm welcome and enjoyable stay. There were thoughtful notes on local sites and cottage amenities. The ferry and good places to walk and bike close by. We didn't need to ask for anything and when we were momentarily unsure before we could pose a question we found a note with an explanation. I would recommend it to friends and family and we would happily stay again.

Summary: A lovely cottage! Smooth communication throughout, trouble free check-in and stay. The cottage is very well furnished, it's like a home away from home. We enjoyed taking the Glenora ferry to PEC and the Sandbanks beach, and then came "home" to unwind. A recommended experience.
