Positive: We stayed in the top floor, two bedroom apartment. It was a perfect location for us to use as a base for exploring the Cape Town area. Property was clean, spacious & well maintained; it had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. It is worth noting that the online description undersells the fact that the apartment has en-suite shower & toilet facilities to both bedrooms plus a third toilet. Gift (the on-site caretaker) was extremely pleasant & welcoming; he dealt with one single issue (defective iron on arrival) extremely promptly.
Negative: The outdoor route up to the top floor apartment would benefit from additional lighting at night. There are a number of steps to negotiate which wasn’t easy in the dark. There is an automated light but it doesn’t trigger until over half way up the path. The middle floor, three bedroom apartment benefits from having a funicular.
Summary: A fantastic place to stay & very reasonably priced.

Positive: I really liked Gift, he was very warm and helpful. I liked the pool area and the kitchen area was really nice. It was very well located. Close to the beach etc I liked the little booklet provided that showed the nearby shops etc.
Negative: The apartment felt grubby and dusty. I stayed for 5 nights and there no additional sheets or towels provided The shower was blocked and over flooded. The TV stand was broken and the host was rude when I alerted her of this The couches were uncomfortable The draws and cabinets in the bed room were loud and difficult to use

Positive: The view of this apartment is out of this world. We stayed on the top floor. It has a 180 degree seaview, magnificent.
Negative: The house has been split into different apartments and one can hear every word of anyone outside on their balconies. There is no enclosed parking downstairs, so your car is in the open we we're told not to leave anything visible in the car. There are many steep stairs to climb, so this is not for the elderly who struggle to walk. The top floor has no open balcony, although the best view, so the braai area is at the back. Compared to the unit, the old wooden table and white plastic chairs outside are tatty and seriously need to be replaced to fit in with the rest of the furnishings.

Positive: Arrival was smooth. Apartment in the perfect location to walk to town, watch the waves and even enjoy a rainy day. I was thankful for the French press and good WiFi access. Also appreciated the adapter provided as I live in Kenya and do not have South Africa adapters for charging phone.
Negative: The toilet is oddly high, maybe a foot stool placed here? And a larger mirror somewhere in the apartment would be nice.
