Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The number of rooms and layout of the home were perfect for our group of 2 adults and 3 teens. Master bedroom and bathroom are huge. The price was pretty reasonable for what we needed. Worked out to about $200 per night and we got it quite last minute.

Negative: It had supposedly been “cleaned” but everything (and I mean everything!) in the kitchen cabinets was dirty - with layer of film/dust, so we had to wash every single cup, plate and spoon before we used it. Lots of pantry items are left but mostly out of date. Also the living room carpet was very old and stained. It felt gross, especially since this is a dog friendly place (usually those are tile or vinyl floors). The master bed has an old gross mattress. All beds are made with plastic covers on them under the sheets which are very uncomfortable and annoying to sleep on. We had to remove ours and double up the sheets (thankfully there were extra) so we could sleep. Finally there is not furniture in the backyard as advertised. No access to the garage - not sure if that was advertised or not but we found out after we confirmed. There are loose wires running along the living room floor to connect the electric recliners (the couch was very comfortable!) but the wires could be a danger for the young or elderly.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay but due to the problems listed above, we wouldn’t go back.
