Summary: Location was perfect! So peaceful sitting on the deck beside the creek. The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed to make some meals there but also enjoyed some of the local restaurants. Would highly recommend this home!

Summary: Tom and Amanda's place is a slice of heaven! I had been planning a trip for my partner and our best friends for some time now, but couldn't find a place that really spoke to me. After searching for places over 3 hours away without luck, I decided to look for something a little closer to home. I am glad I did! I was first impressed with the pictures of the home and was excited to see it was surrounded by nature and right in front of a babbling brook. But as much as I fell in love with the pictures, they do not compare to the feeling you get when you actually enter the premises! The pictures are completely accurate: the house was spotless, the appliances were new, and the furnishings were comfortable. The rooms were spacious, the beds were amazingly comfortable, the property and deck were well maintained. For me, I could have just stayed on the deck under the moonlight the entire time. The sound of the brook was mesmerizing and every morning I would drink my coffee and just gaze at the beauty I was part of. Of course, inside was beautiful, too ... so when we needed to be inside, we had a huge TV to watch our favorite shows on. There is plenty of streaming options and the WIFI connection was really strong. Once you leave the property, there's a couple of miles where the cell strength is weak, but that's completely expected for the location. However, once on the property, the signals are excellent. The hospitality was above and beyond what we are used to. When we arrived, we were greeted with fresh, homegrown grape and cherry tomatoes, and hand made Shoofly pie. We home's manual had everything we could want to make our stay comfortable and the instructions were clear. We just fell in love with this place and hope we can come back next year!
