Positive: The Croft House was a wonderful place to call home for our stay on Skye. We loved how cozy and charmingly decorated it was. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean. The location was great and we wished we could've stayed longer to enjoy the property. The owner of the house was very thoughtful and left behind a very useful binder full of information and tips for the local area.
Negative: The management company. They weren't responsive to questions prior to check-in or during our stay. There was a window that wouldn't fully close in the upstairs bathroom and the company didn't reply to our request for suggestions or information on how to close the window. Full disclosure: we were supplied with the phone number of a local contact in case of emergency, but we didn't think the window qualified as an emergency or major issue. We were there for only a short time anyway and just put up with the wind whistling through the partially opened window.

Positive: The location and the overall house
Negative: The water in the shower; temperature was unstable and pressure low. We wete also désappointed with customer service request follow up. We had made a couple of questions and requests, using the direct phone number and the chat but received chat back 24 hrs after departure.

Positive: Very spacious and comfortable house in a stunning location: views onto the sea and the high cliff accross. Well equipped kitchen, individual heating in every room.
Negative: One thing you have to be aware of: the c. 8 miles from/to Dunvegan are a single track road that also leads to Neist Point -- a very popular spot. Hence, there tends to be more traffic than a single track road can easily accommodate and those 8 miles can easily take half an hour. Not a fault of the house, of course.

Positive: We loved the home and amazing view of sheep, a horse, the water, cliffs along with some waterfalls. The two bedrooms are upstairs and one full bathroom is upstairs and one full bathroom is downstairs. Kitchen had all the dishes and equipment we needed to make dinner and breakfasts. It is close to Neist Point Lighthouse also for a short drive.
Negative: Not the fault of the owners, but the road close to the property has potholes and isn’t as good so don’t drive too quickly and you should be ok.
