Positive: Location and views . Friendly staff.
Negative: Buffet times limited - for dinner particularly - and not flagged to you when you check in. We missed the finish of the dinner buffet by 10 mins - while it was still laid out in the restaurant and had lots of available food -and had no choice but to pay full a La carte for 4 which was really pricey (for a reasonable standard of food but not a great one). Breakfast buffet was similar - it finished an hour before the breakfast stated hours. Seems bizarre. The bedrooms while clean and functional really could do with updating.
Summary: Expensive for what it is

Positive: The location halfway between Jasper and Banff is great for those who need a stop or want to break their trip. The rooms are clean but need an update. Wifi was very slow. Most power outlets were too loose to hold a plug.
Negative: Both rooms and the surrounding facilities are too expensive for what they are. The rooms need an update. Bathrooms are clearly aged, the beds were too soft, power outlets so loose they wouldn't hold a plug, Wifi was slow. We didn't eat here because it was so expensive and ratings are low.
Summary: The best reason to stay here is location. The property itself, however, isn't good value for money.
