Positive: Menu was very good and the food lived up to it. Not available on Sundays. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Negative: This is a pub/restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel. There seem to be no dedicated hotel staff and no management. And, for example, no telephones in rooms. Overseas visitors might be very disappointed .

Summary: Convenient value for money for overnight stay but not a long period. A good place to eat.

Positive: Situated in the town centre, the pub is very good and the rooms basic but clean. Bed was comfy

Negative: Unfortunately there isn"t much sound insulation so .lots of noise from other guests Most of the guests were staying for work reasons and up and about from 5am. Probably not a problem on weekends or indeed if you are also planning an early start.
