Positive: We drove 9 hours to get to the facility, we had to pay them before arrival. When we got there the 2 bedroom unit was not available witch we paid for and got booking confirmation from. The staff even had a whatsapp on their whatsapp group confirming our arrival. We waited outside almost an hour, the management did not pick up their phone when we tried to call. The staff tried a few times and got hold of them. They gave us 2 x 1 bedroom units to accommodate us.

Positive: The Cubes looked just like the photos when we arrived; stylish, minimal and reinforced. We enjoyed our stay. The Chef and the staff at the Cubes were very responsive and helpful. The food was great for the price (albeit a little salty for my palette) and the location was good. The pool was lovely and the site was relatively quiet. W-fi was available and, I would just like to say again, the staff were great!

Negative: If you're clumsy, this may not be the property for you as all surfaces are hard! The Cubes are exactly like their photos; made from concrete, metal and glass. Be careful on the stairs because if you trip, you might sustain a significant injury! The bath mats slide a little and the doors need some WD40, but otherwise the property is really good. We really liked the Chef. He was so hard working and accommodating, but there were small mistakes made with our orders on occasion and there was never any porridge. As all food is cooked fresh, it can take a little bit of time to be made, but you can order your food in advance, so as long as you're wise and do this, you're OK. We did experience some issues with the shower. The hot water was faster and stronger than the cold water, so you either boiled or froze. We could never find a good in between. This needs to be looked at.

Positive: I stayed in the loft apartment, which features a well-equipped kitchenette with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, and essential utensils. There are air conditioners in both the open-plan dining area and the upstairs bedroom. In light of the frequent power cuts in Lusaka, fans are also provided in both rooms for use during off-grid hours. Upstairs, the en-suite shower had warm water throughout my stay.

Negative: The property faces a busy street, and while the industrial-style design with large glass panels gives it a charming, light-filled atmosphere, it does compromise on privacy. At night, lights from passing cars flash through the windows, which can be disruptive for light sleepers or anyone who prefers complete darkness. Additionally, the bathroom lacked basic amenities such as shower gel, shampoo, and a hair dryer.

Summary: A stylish loft, but limited privacy and missing basic bathroom essentials.

Positive: The location, cleanliness and staff were all amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

Negative: The water in the shower was cold on a couple of occasions due to the gas system they use but the staff are very helpful and resolved the issue within minutes of being notified.
