Positive: Great rural location with easy access to a good pub/restaurant (on foot if you like) and relatively easy access to Richmond for an interesting town and castle and the nearest supermarket (half an hour by car). There are walks and mountain bike rides from the door and there are pretty drives to Swaledale and Wensleydale and their scenery and attractions. The cottage has been sensitively renovated with modern facilities, comfortable furniture, and high quality soft furnishings, but retaining its original charm. An upstairs loo and basin is useful when the main bathroom (walk in shower rather than bath) is downstairs.

Positive: Lovely cottage with wood stove; nice bedrooms, comfy beds and great location. Red Lion pub v cosy and close by.
Negative: Couldn’t get all TV channels. My partner is 6’ 4” and the door frames were v low.
