Positive: The breakfast included in the booking was the best breakfast in the island. The pool, the stuff and the garden are super nice.
Negative: The hotel is a bit worn out. We took the Garden Villa and it’s a bit locked in with no views and its “garden” is tiny. This is a 5 star hotel and it’s a bit expensive for Bali. Mainly the restaurant.

Positive: The beds were comfortable , villas lovely and the free yoga was enjoyable . Massage was great however expensive .
Negative: Luckily breakfast was included as food was well over priced ! This reason alone I probably wouldn’t return ! Afternoon tea was included in the package which consisted of tea or coffee and 1-2 biscuits, and plate of fruit.

Positive: The accommodation is beautiful, and the staff’s service truly lives up to a five-star standard. The interiors are a bit dated, but that didn’t matter at all – they are still very beautiful. The level of service at this property is genuinely top-notch. The breakfasts were rich and excellent; while travelling around Bali, we didn’t eat this well anywhere else. The cuisine is outstanding. The massages are also of a very high standard. The hotel-organised transfer to and from Lovina was excellent – whenever you messaged them on WhatsApp, it was arranged without any problem. Unfortunately, we weren’t very lucky with the weather, so without sunshine the accommodation felt a bit gloomy at times.
Negative: Although the cuisine is excellent, the prices at this hotel are very high. You are paying for true fine dining, which is not something you have the time for every day. After returning from an excursion, you just want to eat quickly – that’s not really possible here, as dining is a full experience with everything that comes with it, including a napkin on your lap and formal service. We were happy to indulge in it once during our holiday, but it’s not something we need every day. If the prices were more reasonable, guests wouldn’t be forced to look for alternative options elsewhere. The same applies to the massage prices. We experienced many massages in Bali, and these were three times more expensive. It’s a shame – if the pricing were fairer, we would happily go for a massage almost every day.

Positive: Overall, our stay was okay, but the hotel clearly feels past its prime and in need of a strong overhaul to return to its full potential. The hotel itself is nice and probably still the best option in Lovina, unless you move up into the mountains for something different.
Negative: The first night we had quite a bit of noise from the AC, which was bothersome. It was partially fixed the next morning but still not ideal. The staff were polite, but compared to other places we stayed in Bali, they felt less warm and welcoming. I’m not sure if this is due to management/ownership changes or because the hotel is trying to position itself more as a premium property. Overall, a good stay but not amazing — more like a solid 4-star, though leaning towards 3-star in terms of experience. With proper renovation and renewed attention to hospitality, this place could really shine again.
