Positive: The house was very old and very beautiful and has been well taken care of from the day it was built. Full of character and craftsmanship. You could sit on the back porch and chat without having any neighbors to worry about. Heat/Ac system was very cozy, and could not hear it at all. Very beautiful landscape surrounds the land which has a river just a short drive away. Parking space is great and could probably accommodate an RV.
Negative: No barbecue or propane fire pit available.The house is right off of a noisy highway. Almost constant noise from early in the AM until after midnight. It was the weekend, and there was an event down the road, so maybe that was it.

Positive: This is a delightful 2 story farm house full of antiques and real, homemade quilts. Plenty of dishes, glassware, etc. Big farm table and lots of space in the living room to sit and chat. Plenty of parking in the back. Beds are very comfortable. It is located a short distance from McMinnville, with lots of cute shops and farmer's market on Thursday. There are an amazing number of wineries within a 15-20 minute drive.
Negative: It is located near the road, so there is a fair amount of noise. Also, the upstairs bathroom door was very squeaky. Being an old building, there are not a lot of outlets in the rooms. These are all minor details and they did not detract from our stay at all.

Positive: The style of the house was great. Horse near by entertained the kids. Great swing in the back. Very comfortable. I love waking up and reading a book with coffee. Perfect ambience!
Negative: Bed downstairs was hard. Other beds were great.
Summary: Was a perfect place for a relaxing fall trip to see family.

Positive: The house was quaint. There was a lovely morning room for Breakfast or lunch. There was a lovely quilt on the bed in my room and many fun antiques provided the "Grandma's House" decor The house was close to the wineries and the restaurant that we were in the area to visit.
Negative: I'm a good sleeper so I was fine, however my friends found the highway noise in the early morning disrupting. Shade curtains between the pretty lace and the windows would help with sound and headlights, especially in the bedrooms. Just a suggestion. We really appreciated the recommendation to bring drinking water!

Positive: Charming spot where you could feel the history of the place.
Negative: The upstairs bathroom has no window coverings and a see through shower curtain and faces the highway. It’s on a major highway and you could hear the traffic noise all the time. If you have your dog, there’s not a lot of walking options. Some of the furniture/beds were very dated with bed squeaking, lumpy, etc.
