Charming, immaculate, pet-friendly poolside house on 1-acre estate shaded by grandfather oaks, minutes from FishHawk. Walk to restaurants or drive 15 minutes to golf, tennis, horseback riding, canoe rentals, hiking trails, state parks, wildlife preserves and some of the best mountain bike trails in the state.
Country Retreat is an oasis of tranquility central to all that Florida has to offer. 30 minutes from antique districts, outlet malls, Plant City, downtown Tampa and The Florida Aquarium. 45 minutes to Busch Gardens, less than an hour from Floridas famous beaches, 75 minutes from Orlando with Disney/Universal Studios/Seaworld and two hours from the East Coast with Daytona Beach and Cape Canaveral.
An ideal location to explore Central Florida from coast to coast and an inviting, secluded retreat at the end of the day. Wildlife abounds as horses graze in the adjacent pasture or owls nest in the Oak trees. A unique experience.
The Farmhouse is charmingly furnished and fully equipped, including clothes washer and dryer, hi-speed internet and three satellite TV.

Summary: This place was a wonderful escape from hurricane Ian while our house was unlivable. Property manager was very responsive and accommodating. Thinking about coming back for a few days during Christmas. Beautiful little hidden gem!

Summary: We stayed in the spacious farmhouse, and check-in was super simple. We walked in, and we found the most beautiful welcome tray of muffins and sweets. My were blown away by it all, and we felt instantly at ease. We brought our dog with us, and I’ve never seen her so happy! The house was the perfect set-up for her to enjoy. We felt like we had all of the privacy in the world, yet we had all of the convenience of all the restaurants and stores you could ever want within close proximity. We enjoyed the pool, and we had fun exploring activities in the area, such as goat yoga at the Monarchs and Miracles Farm, and climbing adventures at Tree Hoppers. There was a washer and dryer, and the kitchen was amazing for our family to do puzzles at the table, have our family meals, or just eat breakfast at the bar. So easy to clean up, and so little stress. My girls usually sleep in a bedroom together when we go on vacations, but at this house, they each had their own, separate, upstairs bedrooms to enjoy! They felt super spoiled, and it gave my husband and I the entire downstairs to relax in after they went up to bed. We are already talking about when we should book our next stay, and we are contemplating booking the cute cottage next door at the same time for my parents to join us!!

Summary: Our family of four had a wonderful month long stay at the farm house this Summer. We were relieved to have a place with a pool while we waiting on our new home to be ready. The views are so calming and we enjoyed watching the horse from the kitchen window. The rooms are charming and the home has everything you need regardless of the length of your stay. The pool is beautiful and relaxing. Clause is a very accommodating host. He made sure we had what we needed.
