Negative: The price justifies any minor inconveniences, it's fair considering the averages in Ireland.

Positive: The Ferry Boat was ideally close to where the boats launch for the Skellig Islands Tour.

Negative: It’s an older building, so you can hear the people in the rooms next to you. Bring some ear plugs for sleep!

Summary: Great location. Has everything you need for an overnight stop at Portmagee.

Positive: Check-in is completely contactless. Never saw the host through the whole stay. The host provided detailed instruction in advance so it was not a problem at all. Street parking is limited but there is a big public parking lot that allows overnight parking across the street.

Summary: Perfect stay if you have a trip for Skellig Michael the next day.

Positive: Good location

Negative: Mould in the bathroom, wrote to the owner no reply. Booking.com refunded half the cost of the stay. Previous reviews mention the same, there’s been some ‘landlord style’ decorating going on recently, but source of mould not treated. So grout and ceiling new mould ontop of new paint.

Positive: The bed was spacious clean and comfortable. And staff provided a bottle of water on our request.

Negative: It was disappointing we couldn't access any kitchen facilities for drinking water or storage. Also the garden had no key access so there was nowhere to go whilst sharing a room.. There were potentially dangerous obstacles or storage boxes in the hallway. The shower, although good pressure changed to extremely hot on occasions. The felux window in the bathroom should be slightly ajar, no ventilation
