Summary: Our stay at the Fox was absolutely lovely. The car park offered plenty of space and the staff were welcoming. The room was clean and homely, despite the building’s age dating back to World War II. It was kept in excellent condition, almost as if it were brand new. Breakfast was delicious and Tina, our waitress, was fantastic. We genuinely enjoyed her service and conversation with us. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Winchester. You won’t be disappointed!

Summary: We had a lovely stay at The Fox Hotel in Winchester. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, making it a great place to relax. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the food was absolutely amazing—one of the highlights of our stay. The only downside was that the room didn’t have air conditioning. A fan was provided, which was appreciated, but it was very loud and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Apart from that, everything else was excellent, and we would happily stay again.

Summary: Room was clean and good fans already provided in room on arrival since we were in the middle of a heatwave and the older building has no air-con. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious!

Summary: Nice clean room, very spacious and tastefully decorated. Excellent tea and coffee (pods). Only slight concern was the fan in the room had gathered some dust, but we didn't have to use it. Bathroom was lovely and spacious, excellent shower. We had lunch and breakfast, both lovely (breakfast was superbly cooked!) Very helpful staff and a wonderful picturesque location. Only a word of warning, if possible, try not to park under tress... Car will be covered in bird doodoos next day! Very highly recommended hotel.

Summary: The Fox is a perfect place to stay. Close to Winchester yet far enough away to feel like you are out in the country. The rooms are large and comfortable and the restaurant is excellent.

Summary: The breakfast selection is excellent, fresh produce and lots to choose from. No skimping on the amount served. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The roo was very hot as the heating was on and no thermostat in the room to turn down.
