Sleeping 8 comfortably in four bedrooms (1 king, 2 twins, 1 queen, 1 queen), there's room for the whole family to spread out or come together in one of two living spaces with TVs and fireplace, or enjoy the sun on the back patio. A full executive kitchen and stainless steel BBQ ensure plenty of cooking options, or take a stroll to central Wellington where you can sample any variety of coffee shops or chic restaurants. Take a 15-20 minute drive to Picton or Sandbanks to walk the dunes and play in the Caribbean-like waters.

Summary: The house was very clean and welcoming. The decor was modern and minimalist yet very warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with items such as cheese boards and plastic wine glasses and plates for outdoor use. The host was polite and communicated well and promptly. Our stay in PEC was made extremely enjoyable and would highly recommend The Gathering Place to anyone visiting the area.

Summary: Great spot as a home base for a trip to the County. Short walk to town with restaurants and grocery - clean and well appointed place. Central location to beach and wineries/cideries. Would highly recommend.

Summary: We chose this place for a family reunion and we really enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable : excellent beds and linens, 2 large sitting areas with couches, comfy chairs and tons of cozy blankets everywhere and all is tastefully decorated. Fully stocked kitchen, great bbq, outdoor space to eat and to lounge with a book. Our group of 8 was very comfortable! Another great advantage is the location : 15 min walk to Main street Wellington and to the Wellington beach. 5 min walk to the Millenium trail for jogging, hiking and biking. So if you want to leave the car for a few days, it's really doable. It's really well located to explore PEC, sandbanks is about 25 min drive and there is 1 free pass. The property managers were great with providing information and we even got some welcome treats! Great place, great location, I highly recommend!
