Summary: Upon arrival , the ambiance was positive: traditional Czech house from last two centuries, high ceiling and cool interior , a nice refuge from late afternoon summer heat. But room lacked face towels, no telephone for calling reception and standing shower stall small even for an average person. Bed and sofa n pillows comfortable though. Receptionist seemed mostly bored and gruff. Breakfast service was very late starting at 8am. Ok if you are not on business n in a hurry. Breakfast spread quite good though. Visited a friend staying at DESIGN HOTEL NERUDOVA further up the street. Such a contrast in terms of colours on the walls, and staff always warm and helpful. And it was a full service cafe!

Summary: Overall a nice stay and room. However the room was cold and one day at breakfeast both coffeemachines did not work. The staff was always helpfull.

Summary: This was a nice place to stay, it does have many stairs and it is on a steep street, but the location to see the Palace and St. Vitus Cathedral was perfect, you can see it from the hotel and you can hear the church bells.

Summary: Not all rooms are elevator accessible! No one to assist getting luggage upstairs. Even though ground floor or elevator accessible room was requested.

Summary: Room was very nice and good location. It was just 4 flights of stairs to get to the room, so a bit tedious going up and down. Garden at the back was nice to relax at the end of the day.

Summary: Delightful reception staff. Beautifully renovated mediaval building with some unique art pieces. To get to upper floors was a bit tedious with need to take two different elevators Breakfast had limited fresh fruit selections. As we stayed for 11 days,we have noticed some days were mediocre, depending on number of guests. Excellent location.

Summary: The room was beautiful, comfortable, clean and quiet! The breakfasts were delicious and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful! I would recommend this hotel to freshen!

Summary: Fantastic location. Room was clean and roomie. Bathroom was fully remodeled. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Good coffee maker at breakfast. Checked in late and lady at reception was new and didn’t speak English well but we managed.
