Summary: Cabin was stocked well in kitchen. It lacked comfortable seating though. It had an uncomfortable futon instead of a couch to sit on. Also had three small bar stools at the small table which were not big enough for my large husband.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay with the exception of the pump that cycled on and off all night. This made it difficult to get a good nights rest. I understand if we were running water but I would not think all night. The main door had to be slammed to get it closed The location is fabulous for you like to be isolated. There was wood for the fire pit which was enjoyed. It was old but clean. Limited hottish water. Unlimited cold delicious water. Cable and Wireless internet appears great. Cell service was fine with TMobile. Plenty of parking. Great for the price compared to some alternatives.

Summary: The cabin is smaller than it looks but, worked for our short stay. It’s a great location if you plan on visiting Mackinaw, only a 10 min drive to city. Just a couple minor complaints; the water in the shower does not get very warm you’re pretty much taking a cold shower. There also wasn’t a hand towel in the bathroom, and towels aren’t provide so it’s good to bring your own.

Summary: For starters. It is a cute cabin. We were happy at first. Then our experience changed. The stove did not work. We had planned on cooking some meals. The property owner told us there is a charcoal grill we are welcome to use. There was a microwave but no bowls to heat things up. So the kitchen was lacking. Went to take a shower and the temp would only get warm. Not a nice hot shower. To top it off. There were ants in every room. In the beds. In the shower. On the walls. We ended up not staying both nights. We went home early. Was hoping to get a partial refund due to circumstances but did not get a response from owner when I listed off the issues. These could be corrected and I hope the owner considers a few things. I believe this place has potential

Summary: This very small cabin in the woods near the lake could be super cute with a little bit of extra attention to detail. There really is no flooring as old tile had been torn up and rugs covered floor. A lamp in living room and bedroom would be nice. No electrical plug in bathroom. Kitchen has a full stove but refrigerator is dorm size. Small Kuerig was nice but only 1 real coffee mug available the other in cupboard had a large chip in it. There were 4 plastic plates in cupboard and two plastic bowls, No instructions for trash or visible trash can outside of cabin. Location was good. Loved the peace and quite and fire pit outside.

Summary: Very rustic cabin. Wife and I used this cabin to sleep as we visited Mackinac Island during the day. As stated in a previous review, no air conditioning, cabin is shaded and was comfortable. We used the fan that the owner provided in the screened window over the kitchen sink. It was comfortable. Refrigerator is dorm size with a freezer compartment that holds four water bottles. A tip on using the shower. The first night I could not get the shower warmer than Luke warm. I figured out to run the sink hot for a few moments, then turn on the shower to get the temp up. Worked well. With no light directed in the shower area, we hung a flashlight from the shower curtain hooks. Again, a cute rustic cabin that worked well for sleeping after a long day of biking and hiking on Mackinac Island. Owner is very responsive and pleasant in our communication.

Summary: Cute tiny cabin. Unfortunately we didn’t complete our stay there due to the large black ants which were crawling on us during the 1st night. The next morning ants were also on the futon, spiders in the shower and another kind of bug in the kitchen sink. Also the bathroom is very small and the shower floor was covered with a rubbery mat. We quickly decided that we could not stay there another night so we found a hotel. They did have 2 cans of bug spray and a bug candle on the screened in porch so that’s a sign that they knew about the insect problems. The owners did do a partial refund and said they would have an exterminator come treat it.

Summary: Cozy cabin. Great for going to the headlands or mackinaw city, fishing or the odawa casino. Had a great stay. The community was kind and so was the owner who helped us find the cabin. TV had roku. No freezer or A/C. However we were provided a fan to keep cool which was nice.Thank you for our stay 😀
