Country living just 8 miles from Grand Lake and the 10 miles from Pensacola Dam. Beautiful home on 7 acres for an ultimate family get- away. Home has recently been updated with new furnishings. Lots of parking, bring your boat, atv, Jeep, we have room for it all. Kids playground, tire swing, hammock. Outdoor dining with grill in back. Privacy here is not an issue, perfect for the family looking to escape the hustle and bustle. Baby friendly amenities, crib, play pens, high chairs, baby gates etc.
The space
The south grand lake area has a lot to offer the town of Langley is 8 miles from the home. There you will find Reasors grocery store, a few dining options and friendly people loving the lake life. Two more miles down the road is the town of Disney, Disney hosts a public swim beach, the Pensacola dam as well as a public area of ATV trails.

Guests have access to the entire home except the garage and a couple closets where our personal items are stored

Family friendly, we have baby gates available upon request, high chairs, cribs, toys and play pen. We also have a few lake toys and some lifejackets available if you plan to check out the lake.

Summary: This property was even better that what we expected from the pictures. There is a large living room in addition to all the other space, and plenty of parking as stated in the listing. The host was very supportive of our questions and everybody had a great time, we used all five bedrooms and it worked out great.

Summary: We stayed at the Grand Getaway for a family Thanksgiving celebration. The location is a great central point for us to meet. Ashley had everything ready for our enjoyment. Her communication is friendly and timely… She never leaves you hanging. This was our second stay at this property, and I would not hesitate to book again. The facilities are spacious and as advertised, and there is plenty both inside and out to keep a family happy! Thanks for hosting us!

Summary: The host, Ashley was super helpful, accommodating, and easy to get ahold of. She even picked up groceries for a week and put them away. The house was spacious and clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. It was a really nice place to come home to, relax and enjoy meals together after long hot work days. Also- the neighbors were really cute (cows) and the sunrises were gorgeous. We look forward to staying at the Knight House next week for Born & Raised!

Summary: This was the perfect place for our family’s summer vacation weekend. Beautiful home, lots of land and outside activities. Super close to Grand lake and Little Blue state park. The hosts were excellent to work with, very accommodating. We are planning to do it all again next summer!

Summary: This place was amazing!! You feel a little lost as you head into the middle of nowhere, but once you arrive all concerns of typical consequences of remote location are alleviated. The internet was a little slow, but otherwise the property is very modern, clean, and exceptionally family friendly. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The land is expansive and includes a very well maintained play set complete with 3 slides, sandbox, swings, and teeter totter. There is also a trampoline, hammock, basketball hoop, small zipline, grill, chiminea, gas fire table, and dining set. Beds were perfect - soft but firm, clean, and decent quality linens. The host was amazing and even left a basket for those frequently forgotten items and snacks. Would definitely reccomend for get aways with small or large parties of any make.

Summary: The property was beautiful as advertised. We had 12 family members gathered, and the layout was great, with everyone getting a bed. The kitchen was stocked with enough dishes and equipment for our 4 night stay. The kids enjoyed the outdoor play area, and the welcome basket gifts from the host. I have mobility issues and use a cane or walker. I was able to navigate the ground floor easily. There are two steps without a rail to enter the home, but I managed them with help from my family. The host was very responsive to our requests, and seemed genuinely interested in providing us with a pleasant experience. We hope to return in the future. Give this lovely facility a try!
