Positive: The house is large and spacious. The 10 of us were able to spread out easily. Very modern appliances. The beds were comfortable. The house is located in a quiet and clean neighborhood. The back deck is a nice feature. There was ample street parking!
Negative: Some of the bedding was not the cleanest (hairs and stains found on a couple of items). The owner also requested that we remove the bedding (but not the comforters) to be washed. I hope all bedding item were ultimately washed. The air in the house does not circulate well as upstairs was very hot and stuffy while the basement was freezing cold with the thermostat set at 70 degrees. Would have loved to have some fans upstairs to help the air circulate better. Lastly, we were asked to take out all of the trash, which would have been easier if the trash cans had bags, so we would not have had to carry each individual trashcan outside.

Positive: Convenient location to popular DC sites. Very clean. Had all kitchen and laundry appliances needed for a multi day stay. Despite high temps outside, inside the home temp was comfortable.
Negative: Not a problem, just be aware, had to park on side street so had a short walk from car to home.
Summary: Very comfortable and convenient home to make our home base while visiting DC.

Positive: Had a minor problem with a stuck storm door at the back of the house, but, owner was prompt in fixing it. Bed comforters were a bit on the thin side, other than that, excellent place to rent if you have a family of more than 5. Place was clean, and all kitchen essentials were present. I would rent it again if I'm in the DC area.
Negative: Bed comforters were not as thick as I'd like, just a minor gripe.
