We are only 7 miles away from everything Coeur d’Alene has to offer (fine dining, casual dining, shopping), while being in your own private Idaho!
This home can sleep up to 14 PEOPLE, it has TWO fully stocked kitchens, 2 fabulous outdoor decks, an outdoor BBQ as well as a fire pit. Custom dining room table that seats twelve, with ample outdoor dining as well.
Every luxury is available. There are several large flat screen TVs in the living areas and full wireless internet access so you can stay connected if you choose this home as your destination while on a working trip.
A place to leave all your worries behind and enjoy the ultimate luxury family vacation. Simply take in the spectacular lake views from just about any spot in the house and relax with a book and your favorite beverage. Gather with your family and friends to eat on the large patio decks or at the massive dining room table. Sneak away for a little quiet time in the wine tasting room and enjoy a game of chess. If you ate too much, work it off in the gym or sweat it out in the sauna. Take a ride on your own personal tram down to the dock where you can park your boat/jet skis. Take a swim or fish off the dock, or grab one of our kayaks and/or paddle boards and cruise off the dock. Relax in the spa on the lower deck and take in the lake view, beautiful sunsets, and vista of the Rathdrum mountains. Relax in front of the downstairs deck fire pit. Cozy up together under a heater and the beautiful night sky. Keep the kids entertained in the well equipped massive game room.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Our house has a wonderfully unique open floor plan designed to maximize light and capture incredible lake views from every space. The kids will also enjoy sleeping together in two OPEN lofts overlooking the main room/master bedroom upstairs and the game room downstairs, respectively. These two lofts have twin beds. The master bedroom has a unique design with high vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and views, views, views!! It is open to the upper loft. Please see pictures, video and 3-D virtual tour and feel free to ask as many questions as you would like before booking. I love connecting with guests and sharing our home. There is a second guest bedroom is on the middle level with a queen bed, incredible lake views and en suite bath. The 3rd bedroom is "The Grotto" and is also on the middle floor. It is a sitting area with a “easy open” Italian sofa bed and custom barn doors, and has direct access to the gym, steam sauna, and wine cellar/tasting room. The 4th bedroom is on the lowest level, it also has lake views and an en suite bath and opens to the game room.

The Great Escape is perfectly located in proximity to downtown Hayden, a short 5-10 min drive to a plethora of stores, restaurants and groceries. Only a 15 minute drive from downtown Coeur d'Alene and all it has to offer. But unlike Coeur d'Alene, Lake Hayden is more calm, family friendly and less crowded while offering all of the same water sports, better fishing and a little warmer water temperature. There are also a number of wonderful day trips to enjoy all within a 45 minute drive including Sandpoint, Lake Pend O'reille, many amusement parks, hiking/biking destinations, motor sports, etc.
During WINTER, world class ski resorts are only 30-45 minutes away, along with snowmobiling, snow shoeing, Christmas sleigh ride in Sandpoint and other wonderful winter activities. Coeur d'Alene boasts some 1.5 million Christmas lights and is spectacular during the holiday season just a short drive away. We have compiled a long list of things to do and places to see to stay entertained. We think it is the perfect spot and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
PARKING: There are two parking spots available in the garage, and space for 1-2 small vehicles in the very short driveway.
