Summary: Our goal with this vacation was to chill out and enjoy our family time, especially with our 2.5-year-old granddaughter. The Great Escape cottage provided a comfortable base for our activities and included all of the amenities we needed. The cottage is beautiful and well-maintained. Our granddaughter located and was thrilled by the multitude of decorative items in the cottage; we were able to keep all of them safe although possibly relocated some!! As per the owner's note in advance the spiral stairs are TRICKY, especially for 70+ year olds!

Summary: Great location and wonderful view of the lake. We especially enjoyed the close proximity to the swimming area. The kitchen was well stocked and made meal prep easy. Regarding the listing we were counting on the 2 double futons for the kids and it's actually a couch and loveseat. There is no sofa bed. You might want to update the listing. Also wanted to mention that the spiral steps have one step that has become unattached on the inside near the post. We enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The home was clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We loved the big sunroom for our family gatherings in the evening. We have a boat so were very happy there was a dock nearby for us to use during the day.
