The Green Canopy at Tamarron Resort (Gambel Oak #769) is our one bedroom condo featuring a king bed, trundle sofa with two twins, full kitchen, one full bath, and a private deck. With views of the Glacier Club’s golf course and the surrounding mountains.
Enjoy your treetop view of the San Juan Mountains in this newly remodeled, fully appointed 1 Bedroom/1 Bath apartment suite. Located in the community of Glacier Club, you’ll have access to some of the best amenities and activities in the area. Ten minutes from skiing at Purgatory Resort and 20 minutes from downtown Durango’s shopping, restaurants and microbreweries. Three on-site restaurants. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.
Start your vacation climbing a stunning outdoor spiral staircase with a private mountain-view balcony. Mudroom alcove with organization for all coats, boots/shoes, golf clubs and play equipment. Completely remodeled and fully furnished, it comfortably sleeps four.
Private bedroom with a king-size bed and TV with Roku and on-suite bathroom with glass enclosed shower and new water heater for a steamy retreat. Living room has a West Elm sofa and trundle bed sleeps two (twin size, one up, down) with an electric fireplace and plenty of soft, warm blankets to keep you snuggly in front of the wide screen TV with Roku access. Washer and dryer in room and full-size closet.
Full kitchen with updated Haier appliances (condo size fridge, 4 burner electric stove, microwave, and dishwasher), dinner service for 8 and all necessary cookware, bakeware and utensils. Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender to support early morning breakfast before hitting the slopes or the golf course. Full size dining table for four and a desk to work a little (with high-speed internet access - 100+ mpbs!) while away from the office.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge.
LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: great support with changes in the coffee maker to accommodate us. The king bed was comfortable. Due to steep stairs I would not recommend for young children or people with physical disabilities. The door to adjoining unit was thin (and did not go all the way to the floor) so sounds could be heard. Fortunately, our neighbors were quiet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the condo is nice and we enjoyed our stay. The view from the front deck is fantastic! Prior to our stay, I have have to assume the cleaning crew did a rush job as there were a few cigarette butts and cobwebs on the front deck. The inside was pretty clean. Also of note, the two chairs on the front deck you see in the photos...they no longer have back cushions (no idea where they went, they were not there when we got there), so you'll have to grab a couple of pillows from the couch. The condo is stocked with pots/pans/dishes/glasses/utensils, however not much in the way of cooking products or basics, so you'll have to buy them in town. There is a Keurig, but no pods. I don't know if this was an oversight or if the owner expects their guests to provide their own.

We are a family of 4 (2 boys ages 9 & 6) and I think it was a little snug for all of us and the spiral staircase going up to the door isn’t kid friendly / makes it difficult to bring up luggage. Other than that it had everything you needed inside.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is located in a large complex just south of Purgatory. You stop at the resort office to check in. There are some restaurants, an exercise area, and pool near the office. The pool was very crowded with children during on July visit. It is a far walk from the condo. The very clean condo was beautifully decorated and well stocked with equipment to cook and lots of cleaning supplies. There was a Kuerig coffee maker and pods. The wifi and TV set-up worked well. The owner provided a very useful guide on how things worked and local resources. There were local guides books and some games. The bathroom was well stocked with towels. The washer and dryer worked well.The unit is on an upper level with outside stairs. The parking lot was usually full, so this could be an issue for some guests.
