Positive: Great find, friendly family run pub with rooms. Although the room was small it had everything we needed for an over night stay. The Landlord went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant

Negative: I checked the website before booking and there was no Valentines menu advertised. I'm a foody and had already selected my evening meal, only to find a reduced Valentines menu when we sat down to eat. There is no Breakfast at this point and I hope they will reconsider offering breakfast in the future.

Positive: Beautiful village location with very friendly staff and locals. All staff were very went above and beyond, we travelled with our 2 dogs and nothing was a bother. We had dinner there on the first night, all our meals were good, good portions and very tasty.

Negative: Our rooms could do with a little TLC and a good deep clean, unfortunately there was no hot water on our first morning, we were out early and there was no one to report it to but it was back on by the time we returned. The music was quite loud not helped by a bear festival just down the road but it did not bother us. The atmosphere of the place made up for most of the negatives.
