Positive: We had a pleasant experience overall. The location of the property is excellent being close to the beach made it perfect for morning walks, and having a supermarket and coffee shops within a 15-minute walk was very convenient. The property itself is comfortable, quiet and clean, which we appreciated.
Negative: However, we did notice a couple of issues: the tap at the bathroom sink and the dinning table were a bit loose. Additionally, we found that 2 rolls of toilet paper were not sufficient for our stay. If these issues could be addressed, it would make the stay even more perfect.

Positive: The property is good for 4 people to stay. It is clean and tidy. The location is good. Within 20 minute's drive to city center.
Negative: The water shower is weak, and it's not easy to finish the bath. The driveway only allows a small car to park. Toilet paper is not sufficient. We stayed 3 days with 4 adults but only provided 2 rolls.

Positive: I will highly recommend this cottage to anyone with a family. Our kids enjoyed the place a lot. It was like a home. The surrounding scenery was amazing, the place was well equipped with the amenities you'll need. There are couple of bus stops nearby 2 min and 6 min walk, those buses will take you to the city center. Edinburgh is an amazing place.
Negative: Everything was great! We could have stayed a tad bit longer to see the Northern lights.
Summary: Fantastic cottage! A home away from home.

Positive: The accommodation was clean, comfortable and fairly spacious as expected. Collecting the keys from the lockbox was very straightforward, and it was not too difficult to reach the city centre via the bus stop nearby (takes around 15 minutes). The beds and furniture were soft and plenty of heaters were provided in every room.
Negative: Not a huge amount of shops in the immediate vicinity, but still a handy location for a short trip given the accessibility of public transport.

Positive: The host made it extremely easy & comfortable for us to collect the keys outside the apartment, in spit of us reaching there at a late hour. The apartment was also kept neat & tidy and it was stocked with all necessary things such as toiletries, napkins & towels, etc.

Negative: The smell of smoke when we would return from each outing.
