Positive: The location of the Guards Hotel is excellent—very convenient and easily accessible from Waverley Edinburgh railway station by several buses and the tram. It’s also perfectly situated for exploring the city’s main attractions. In fact, I hardly needed to use public transport at all, as most places were within comfortable walking distance. Princes Street feels like a continuation of the Haymarket area, making everything feel very connected and easy to navigate. The staff was very supportive and friendly, always ready to help with any questions.

Negative: The hotel does not have a lift, which may be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage or mobility concerns.
