Summary: Staff was great. This is an old classic hotel with a wood burning fireplace in the lobby. Room was decorated nicely with some old furniture. Great location. Can walk to everything in Fairplay

Summary: Great historic hotel. Bed was super comfy. Thermostat is shared for three rooms. Ours was a bit chilly but plenty of comfortable bedding kept us warm and slept great.

Summary: The room was great. Staff was great. Super quiet when we were there. What was the lobby was a fun spot to hang out in with games, couches, and a fire place - plus it was in a small store with fun clothes and other stuff for sale.

Summary: All of the above! The staff is exceptional. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I am so glad that we didn’t stay at one of the bigger named hotels. I am handicapped and was very concerned about not having an elevator. The staff helped with our belongings. I am looking forward to going back in warmer weather. Fairplay is such a nice town.

Summary: This is an old hotel (1930s) in the mountain town of Fairplay Colorado. Quaint, a little rustic, but our stay (1 night) was quite pleasant. Everything worked fine and the breakfast (an additional $15) was delicious - fresh fruit, a choice of freshly cooked egg dishes, meats and pastry. In a throwback to an earlier time, no TVs in the rooms (no hardship for us). Staff are delightful. We will stay there when we pass that way again
