Positive: The hotel is very well located in central Chirk and the staff was truly lovely. There is a very nice beer garden, bar and places to have meals.

Negative: It was a heat wave, we had only one small fan and most of the windows are painted shut. I think the Permissions Board really needs to reconsidering allowing the AirCon to be installed.

Summary: Very nice people. Very hot room.

Positive: The room was better than we expected, very clean and all facilities good. Staff were really helpful and friendly and food in the restaurant, while not gourmet dining, was good value with generous portions. Large beer garden was clean with plenty of seating and bar prices cheap (pint of Madri for under a fiver!).
