Positive: Interesting space. Very clean. Adequately stocked.
Negative: I made my original reservation and was given one address. At some point the address changed. Because the addresses were similar and because no one called my attention to the fact that the address had changed, I ended up in the wrong place late in the evening. I then had to walk several blocks, with my luggage, in an unfamiliar neighborhood. Not a good experience.

Negative: Water pressure really low Warm water take so long and it was not enough warm Home heater centralized, not able to turon on inside the studio. The kitchen utensils were od and many of them were missing Construction nosy in front and starting 7am

Positive: The whole experience was extremely uncomplicated. I like that the apartments are close to the Harlem-125th St. Metro North station and also that guests are given codes to access the building and the apartment. This made checking in and checking out very easy. Also, the apartment I stayed in was very nice and had more amenities than I was expecting (refrigerator, sink, stove, fully stocked kitchenette, small dining table). I would definitely stay here again.
Negative: I received the wrong code for my apartment at first, but I was able to call the contact number and get the correct code right away. Other than that, there was nothing I didn’t like.
Summary: Great combination of comfort and convenience.

Positive: There are several good things to mention about our stay at the Harlem Getaway. A) the responsiveness of the property manager to any of our questions was supreme. Whatever question and/or request we had, they replied almost in no time both before and during our stay, B) the location! It is located very close to public transport (both subway stations and bus stop) and also lots of big stores, such as Trader Joe's, Target, Marshalls and nice restaurants nearby, (Btw many people including ourselves (before we got there) may think that Harlem is not safe, but we never felt unwelcome or even stared at. On the contrary, central Manhattan might feel more unsafe at times) C) the cleanliness! We have nothing to complain about how clean the apartment was and during our stay, our towels and linen were also changed once, D) the facilities. We had a fridge, a microwave oven, a toaster and a coffee machine that was all we needed for our stay there.
Negative: Gladly there is not much to complain about, but we'd like to point out a couple of things. A) First and foremost the issue we faced with the heating twice during our stay. We contacted the property manager and they took care of it. The first time we arrived early to our flat and it was easy to contact them early and lower the thermostat that apparently someone else had tampered with, but the second time we arrived late to the flat and we waited till next morning to text them. That night was a nightmare as the pipes in our flat were piping hot and everything went dry in our flat. Even some wet wipes we had left open in the bathroom, they all went dry and some chocies we had in a bag, they all melted. From what I've read in other reviews, this is something that had troubled other visitors in the past, so we suggest some other action be taken instead of just texting all visitors not to tamper with the thermostat of the whole building. B) The windows (especially the one in the bedroom) could be replaced with double-glazed ones as we could hear every little noise from down the street during the night. A pair of earplugs can help you out temporarily, but ideally we'd rather not use them. Also, maybe replace them with windows that can be opened so that fresh air can get in the room? C) a very minor notice; the position of the TV in the living room is very high and not comfortable at all to watch something not even for 10 mins. Placing it on the furniture next to the radiator (opposite to the couch) could be an easy option.

Positive: The location is amazing, just a few blocks from 125th Station and the local bodega “best food” truly is the best. We had the best time and the facilities were easy to access, and the owner was so kind and helpful!
Negative: My only complaint was the heat, it got so warm in the apartment overnight, but likely our own fault since we have never used old radiators before. We finally figured it out the last night, but we definitely could’ve asked the owner, so that falls on us!
