If you are looking for a very quiet and private space. Look no further this beautiful, civil war era cabin is set on a private street surronded by woods. Just the beautiful sound of nature and Creek running water. Lots of fishing and exploring. Deer visiting Turkey calling and nature. Or just set on the back porch overlooking nature and deer feeder. Walmart and uptown shopping is only 5 miles away downtown Madison on the Ohio river is only A few miles down the street. Family owned for over 40 years. It is a Rustic home feel.
Additional single room suites available upon request for addtional nightly fees. No hunting or shooting please just observe nature & shoot with your camera.
Bow hunts however, are available for month of October with prior permission. Cost is Reflected in the prices for that month. All laws must be followed and state licenses obtained. Contact us for information.

Summary: Sweet little cabin, very secluded, just what we wanted. Nice back porch with swings looking out on a wooded glade. The road going there was a little rough and precarious (for just about a quarter of a mile, you do not want to meet another car). It was rustic as advertised but had all the comforts of home & was only minutes from downtown. My husband & I really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We just spent a very peaceful and relaxing weekend at this cabin. It was quite a trek to get there, but the directions provided by the owner were terrific. The owner was very responsive to messages, BTW. We weren't too sure about an inflatable hot tub, but it turned out to be very nice. I don't know about fitting four people in it, but two fit very comfortably. The kitchen doesn't have a stove, but the owner provided an outdoor grill, an indoor grill, a toaster oven, and a microwave, so we didn't have any trouble without one. There is a cute coffee station that has a Keurig and a Mr. Coffee. The bathroom was extremely clean, and there's even a place to hang a roll of paper towels, if you choose to do that. Tall people are going to love the shower. The detachable shower head was tall enough that even my tall husband could fit under it. The beds were very comfortable, and there are lots of extra blankets, in case of a cold night. I removed one star (from an otherwise five star review) because in the age of COVID, we have come to expect an extremely clean kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen wasn't what I would call very clean. It wasn't bad, it wouldn't deter me from staying again, but not the level of clean I would like as a short-term renter. Overall, this was a great place. I would definitely stay here again!
