Welcome to the Henderson Homestead. Recently renovated top to bottom in 2022, this 3 bedroom 1.5 bath home offers everything you will need for your upcoming vacation. The owner is a carpenter himself and took pride in renovating his family farm. There is ample space to enjoy nature, go for a walk, spark up a campfire and simply enjoy your time together. This farm is approximately 100 acres and has been in the family for over 100 years! You may even see the hay being harvested and put in one of the large barns at the back of the property.
The best PEI has to offer is all within a 5-30 minute drive from the property. There are many great beaches close by and numerous golf courses. Don't forget to enjoy all that fresh seafood! Sit back, unwind and relax on the deck with your favorite beverage and let the stress melt away.

Summary: This property is GORGEOUS! Located out in the country, it had all the views and beauty that we were looking for on Prince Edward Island. Plus, it is conveniently located near all the Anne of Green Gables sites. The house is adjacent to a working farm with some barns in back. Workers would come in the morning and evening to pick up and drop off equipment, but we barely noticed they were there. The property manager and owner were both very nice and responsive in our communications with them. The home itself looks like new and was very comfortable. There were lawn games available, enough cookware to meet our needs and air conditioning. Also, it was stocked with lots of towels, including many for the beach. The only reason this property doesn't get 5 stars from me is because the cleaning fee felt excessive. I don't think I've ever before paid a cleaning fee that was more than the daily rate. If I had noticed the fee before booking, I probably would have looked for a different home. However, that probably would have been my loss because this really is a spectacular property.

Summary: It was so clean and quaint! The place was well stocked with what you would need. A short drive to local amenities like Cavendish and Charlottetown. I would highly recommend and stay there again. A great place for families or adults wanting the PEI vibes!

Summary: We stayed for three nights and absolutely loved it. The farm setting offered us a quiet escape from our regular city lives. The farmhouse is newly renovated and the owners have been very thoughtful to equip their property for vacationers with most anything one would need, including things like beach towels and beach toys. There is also a lovely fire pit out back for roasting marshmallows :) For us, this property was ideally located too — close to beaches, Green Gables etc. but also tucked away, out of the hustle bustle of the busy tourist season. Highly recommend!

Summary: We were on the island for an annual golf tournament with local friends. This was a great place to stay very modern interior, beautiful setting and close to cavendish for the kids as well as our friends and the golf. We will return again next year hopefully
