Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in the historic schoolhouse. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The surrounding area was so pretty, and we’d love to come back to visit some of the nearby wineries. It was about a 35 minute drive to Charlottesville where we were visiting our son for UVA family weekend. Next time, we’ll make sure we have more time to spend in the property and nearby.

Summary: Very clean and comfortable. The amenities were very nice. The only issue was the shower head in the Master bedroom, stand up shower...it shot a hard steady stream out of the center nozzle hole. couldn't use it. :( I would highly recommend to my friends. :) Mr. K. Johnson, Suffolk, Va.

Summary: The house was very nice and well kept. Stayed here for the UVA graduation weekend - it’s about 30 minutes to UVA. Everyone was very happy with their stay

Summary: This was the perfect place to stay- picturesque, clean, homey, and unique. The house had all the necessities (fully stocked kitchen), and had so many sweet little touches that the Owner thought to Include. The Owner was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here. It’s about 45m outside of Charlottesville, but has plenty of wineries and distilleries in the vicinity.

Summary: This old brick schoolhouse was renovated into unique and lovely living spaces and we enjoyed the opportunity to spend 3 nights in one of them. Tall ceilings, big windows, and beautifully refinished old floors recall the origins of the building, while the well equipped kitchen, the large master suite, and the comfortable sitting and dining area add lots of modern convenience. We are looking forward to staying here again the next time we visit family in this part of Virginia.
