Summary: Loved my room here and I seriously could have just stayed in it looking out the window at the Harbour the whole time if there weren’t so many great things to do close by! The hotel is just two blocks from the Harbour walk and many restaurants, the ferry, and the Maritime Museum. You can also walk out the other direction to a lot of interesting places. Inside the hotel is a nice restaurant, bar, and even a laundry room! The service was great as well. I’m already dreaming about my next visit!

Summary: This was a perfect location to walk around Halifax. Just so central and easy access to everything by foot. We took in some harbour tours and the citadel George’s island to name a few. The room was well cleaned. The only downside was the pull out couch was not at all what we hoped for and very uncomfortable. So travelling with a child with the expectation that they stay on the pull out was the plan that fell apart.

Summary: Steven at front desk is amazing. He provided a lot of helpful information for Halifax and our trip to Cabot Trail. Great Service! The rooms were awesome and the shower is amazing. Great location right by the harbourfront. The restaurant was nice...great drinks!

Summary: I had a wonderful experience at Double tree Hollis. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was quick and smooth. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable—with all the amenities I needed. The bed was especially cozy, and the housekeeping team did a great job throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast . Amazing selection of healthy food options.
