renovated, with 2000 square meters of tropical garden very well cared for, full of scents and colors just 200 meters from a clear sea of stony beach, within walking distance, very suitable for fishing of any kind.
The apartment occupies the ground floor of the beautiful villa surrounded by an olive grove that will make you feel far from everything and everyone.
The apartment consists of four bedrooms, one quadruple and three doubles that open onto a large and cool porch where the kitchen / dining area and a comfortable relaxation area are located.
Each bedroom has a comfortable and elegant bathroom and is air-conditioned. Also on the ground floor of the villa there is a fourth bedroom with bathroom adjacent to the apartment but with the independent entrance directly on the garden with a lovely gazebo and wicker sitting room to bring the receptivity of the house to 10 beds

Summary: We had an amazing time in Rosa's villa. The apartment is big enough for two people, unless you want to sleep apart from each other. There is only one double bed. The garden is a little paradise. We spend a lot of time there. Rosa is prob one of the best host ever. Very friendly, open and warm-hearted. She treated us with cake and water melon and gave us lots of good information. I can definitely recommend that place!

Summary: The most comfortable place to stay in Calabria. Perfect for family vacation - quiet, clean and very beautiful. Rosa (owner) is a very wonderfull women, intellegent collocutor, friendly host and wise advisor. Nearby beaches are excellent. Local restaurants are delicious and cheap (~100euro bill per 2 families with 2 kids each). If you want to eat really fantastic calabrian meals - always listen to Rosa's advices. Villa is beautiful, garden is charming. It was really gorgeous vacation!

Summary: If you want to have a relaxing and comfortable vacation, you should choose this property. The house is very comfortable, spacious, clean and has everything to live. There is a beautiful garden with flowering plants and a gazebo. Before the house there is a small fountain, it's very romantic. The sea is warm and clean, very close, at night you will hear it. The owner is very friendly and caring, you will not have problems. Yoppolo has a train stop, you can go to Tropea and Pizzo, it's very easy and close. We had a lovely holiday here and I would recommend this place to all my friends.

Summary: We just spent a wonderful days at La Casa di Rosa. Rosa could not have been more gracious and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and she was so welcoming and helpful and a mine of information about the area. It was a pleasure to have met she and she will do as much as she can to make sure that your stay is a memorable one, we were sorry to say goodbye at the end of our stay. The perfect apartment is not only beautiful with lovely scenery, but is also as comfortable and relaxing as can be. Stayed September 2013.

Summary: This was the best rest we ever had! Rosa is very hospitable! The house is fantastic: ground and first floor, very spacious, big and beautiful with two teraces, summer kitchen and even fantan with fretwork. In the evening a beautiful lights turns on to highlight the garden. We were 3 families with 3 children: 4 and 9 years and 8 months. Rosa provided to us all we needed for good rest. Evere family had own bedroom with own bathroom and with double bed and bed for children, Rosa even provided us bed for baby, baby chair and baby bath as well, so we felt ourself as home. Bedrooms are light, cleand and big as well as bathrooms. Summer kitchen and living room are wounderfull! There was big table so we all had enough space. The kitchen is fully equipped so we cooked all we wanted and Rosa was so kind to share with us some Italian receipts. The garden around the house is chic: there were several deck chairs so we could take a sunbath and rest in the shadow of old trees and in addition we had lemon and even mandarins directly from the trees! Also There is a place for washing in the garden. So one more time: we had all we needed and felt ourselves as home. The sea is very close: the nearest beach is stony but you could easily get to another wonderful beaches of capo vaticano by car, just 20-30 minutes away. Rosa also showed us local market with fresh food and some interesting things to buy, the good place where we bought very good local vine, fresh bread and other local products. Then Rosa showed us very good family restrants with very testy food and vine. Rosa always helped us in everything what to do, where to go, where to buy and etc. So thanks to Rosa for these vacation! We miss it very much!

Summary: We have spent 2 excellent weeks in « La casa di Rosa » in Joppolo (July 2012). First of all I would like to thank Rosa for her hospitality : we arrived quite late on the first day and she was waiting for us for a warm welcome. During our stay, everything was perfect, she helped us a lot in everything : where to find the best beach or the best restaurant, what cities are worth the trip, ... As my Italian is quite poor (!), she also kindly helped me in various phone calls. I’ll certainly remember our discussions in a mix of French, Italian and English ! The house itself is great, very clean, well equipped (the air conditioning in the rooms helps a lot when the outside temperature is around 38°C !) and convenient. The garden is beautiful and if you want, the outside shower will refresh you ! It is a very quiet place, at a walking distance from a beach, which means that you can simply stay and relax. You can also take your car and travel through Calabria or Sicilia (crossing the Messine channel is easy and takes about 1 hour), our best places : Scilla, Tropea, Etna (in Sicilia), Vulcano, … In conclusion : thanks Rosa for your hospitality, “la casa di Rosa” is a great place to stay ! En français : excellent séjour, en particulier grâce à la gentillesse de Rosa et à la superbe villa ! n’hésitez pas à y passer quelques jours.

Summary: In 2010 and 2011 we spent our holiday in the apartments of La Casa Di Rosa in Joppolo (Calabria, Italy). Both times it was unforgettable vacation. We really enjoyed the holiday that was spent there. The house La Casa Di Rosa has a beautiful territory with garden: oranges, figs, citrons, grass - plats, evergreen plants, fountain. The apartments are very stylish, nice and cozy with comfortable kitchen (all the things needed). Hostess Rosa is very communicative, intelligent and hospital woman who always are ready to help, to get advice and simply to talk and discuss life in the village. The sea is very close to the house and pure. Also 10 min by car there are incredibly beautiful beaches with small pebble (Capo Vaticano, Marino Nicotera). Foodstuffs in Calabria are very cheap, particularly fruits and vegetables. There are a wide choice of sea foods and fishes. Prices of restaurant are pleasantly surprised you. Overall, we have got a lot of positive and unforgettable impressions from our holidays in La Casa Di Rosa. The next year we also plan to have holiday in La Casa Di Rosa and strongly recommend you to do the same.
