Summary: My partner and I recently stayed in the Humble Bee for a long weekend with our dogs. We've stayed in a great many cabins all over the country and this instantly became one of our favorites. The place was spotless when we arrived, and the pictures absolutely don't do it justice - it is so nice and cute and cozy. The cabin was the perfect basecamp for bopping around Shenandoah National Park, but also perfectly equipped for some relaxing downtime with one another in front of the woodstove. The hot tub was wonderful also! Our only regret was not staying longer! Neither one of us nor our dogs wanted to leave and we're already talking about coming back. Pro Tip - turn the hot tub first thing when you arrive so it has time to heat up :)

Summary: Over all, my stay was great! The cabin was a little dusty, but it wasn't bad enough to impede my visit. The hot tub I believe had too much chlorine because it did burn my skin a bit which hasn't happened before, but that was the only thing I was disappointed with. We did love the location and cabin and had a great trip!

Summary: We enjoyed the cabin very much. Large deck with hot tub was lovely -- and covered portion was perfect for enjoying a rainy day. Inside was small but had everything we needed. Easy walk to the lodge and shady road for dog walking. Great views nearby. Enjoyed having second bath and living space; spiral staircase is steep. Short drive to a couple of restaurants. Overall, it was great and we plan to come again with our kiddo!

Summary: Lovely and quiet setting for a peaceful getaway. Cabin was spotless and well-appointed and very comfortable. We appreciated being able to bring our Golden Retriever who loved watching the birds off the back deck. Joshua at the Lodge was very helpful with a check in situation and made amends quickly and beyond expectation. We’ll be back for sure when we need to get away from it all again!
