Positive: I feel it’s not a hostel for couples, they gave us a room close to the showers and bathrooms, meaning no privacy, we could just hear anyone taking showers at night or early in the morning. The experience was very average and the vibe was kind of weird. We went to another hostel after that which was way better for the same price.

Positive: Beautiful location right on the beach - about a 25 minutes walk to the main part of town. Nice communal spaces with seating, hammocks and a nice open shared kitchen. Plenty of bathrooms to share.
Negative: Organisation of tours was quite chaotic, especially for meeting times (they never started when they were supposed to). They encourage you to join the tours they organise and the tours are expensive for what you get from the guide. Our experience across 3 different tours was that the animals were amazing, but the tour guides were generally not super informative or engaged, and none of them started at/around the time we were told to be ready at. The tours were always bigger groups with people from other hostels so I think you could book them for cheaper elsewhere.

Positive: The property is AMAZING! Great location, right on the beach, great staff and great people also staying there. Had a lot of fun
Negative: Kitchen and rooms lightning. Specially for kitchen, it needs brighter light. Also more utensils and appliances. In the rooms, charging point close to each bed would be great!

Positive: Perfect location, great beach vibe, and amazing staff. Julián was a great host and very friendly and accomodating, Anni was a lovely receptionist, Eugenio kept the beach raked and clean for everybody and was full of knowledge about the wildlife in the area and Sandra kept everything tidy inside. The chef also did a good job. Geraldine and joe were also great. Best hostel ive stayed at for location and vibe created by the people.
Summary: If you like Beach cabin vibes you cant really do better.

Positive: We enjoyed our stay at Humpback Turtle. The beach location is nice. You're 20 minutes walk away from the town, that allows you to go every day to eat and buy food. The private hut is pretty comfortable. The hostel is offering plenty of tours. The volunteer Paula was really helpful and friendly. The common areas are clean.
Negative: The staff isn't the most motivated nor the friendliest, really little english is spoken. The kitchen is really basic. The hostel isn't renting surf boards anymore unfortunately. Lunch and dinner are really big and not really balanced.
