Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B (which is also a farm) located on Lake Champlain. We really enjoyed seeing all the animals. A delicious gourmet breakfast was served each morning. The hosts were very hospitable and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area and local restaurants. Our room was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The Inn gets a 10/10 for sustainability. I highly recommend this B&B!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for a long weekend, and will look here first if we’re back in the area. This is a lovely old farmhouse that was undergoing some exterior renovations during our stay, and the Ohly family made us feel welcome. Delicious, inventive breakfasts every morning made with farm fresh ingredients (many of them sourced from their own farm… great coffee with fresh cream is just what we needed to get ourselves going first thing). The property is quite large, plenty of room for hiking around and exploring if you’ve a mind to. Animals are everywhere, both wild and domestic, so if that’s not your thing you might want to reconsider, but if you’re a nature lover you’ll be in your glory. If you want to sleep late, shut the windows… the roosters are quite insistent on an early start. Otherwise, enjoy the breezes and nighttime country sounds of crickets and peepers, interspersed with the occasional muffled snort of nearby farm animals. All in all, this was a welcome respite from our city dwelling life and we look forward to another visit.

Summary: The property was beautiful and well maintained. The only thing that was misleading was that the Inn is not directly on the lake therefore, there was no direct access to the lake.

Summary: It was an amazing place. It is a working farm so the outside might throw you a little (lots of animals!) but make no mistake—this is a well run and excellent B&B with comfortable rooms, excellent service and gourmet breakfasts. The rooms and bathrooms are tidy, comfortable, and clean and the setting is gorgeous. An excellent destination for a comfortable weekend stay. Would definitely visit again.
