Summary: The room was lovely and the pool area is gorgeous, but the service in the Yellowbird restaurant - particularly at breakfast - really lets the hotel down. Service is super-slow and some fairly basic items on the breakfast menu were unavailable on consecutive days. Two days before our departure we booked a taxi via reception for 6am for our trip to the airport. We double-checked the night before that the cab had been booked, and were assured it had been. However, on the morning itself, we discovered that the cab hadn’t actually been booked and we had a stressful 45 minute wait for another cab to arrive.

Summary: One word… paradise. Impeccably designed and maintained property and rooms. Great restaurants on-site and in close proximity to other fantastic options. Private beach access at Old Fort Club + beautiful pool at the hotel gives you the best of both worlds. You won’t regret staying here!

Summary: One of our favourite stays in the world. Have returned three times now and will be keeping it in the rotation. Restaurant staff are always on Bahamian time, but the drivers (to Old Fort), Freddy at the pool bar, and the turn-down staff are extra kind, and we always appreciate them.
