Positive: Historical beautiful buildings, peaceful gardens. Nice room, modernized. Good location near the commercial area and bakery. Great value for the price.
Negative: Beds were a bit too soft for my taste, but I think most people prefer that way. The door of the specific room we were at lets too much light inside the bedroom, which is not great for sleeping. Breakfast is not included, though a few steps from a great bakery so that's ok.

Negative: We spent only 1 night. The trash pickup truck came by at 5am! Our room was in the school house building! I suggest the hotel ask the trash trucks to not service before 7am as other businesses do! Guests would appreciate it

Positive: Winter’s effect on the landscape was apparent, but couldn’t be helped. The grounds were neat, in spite of it. The Christmas decor helped disguise the bleak pallor. We would definitely stay at the Kendall again.
Negative: Our room had an adjoining door to an adjacent room. It provided NO sound dampening. One neighbor had children playing and talking…the second, a small barking dog. Thankfully neither neighbor was egregiously loud. We were concerned, in return, about our TV’s volume bothering them. So, I would avoid that situation again.
Summary: Pleasant…the venue captured small town charm.
