Positive: We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the beautiful ocean view and the convenient beach access. The grounds and location are lovely, and the dining areas have a relaxing coastal atmosphere.
Negative: On the first day, I called the front desk to request two bathrobes and was told the hotel does not provide any, which was surprising for a resort of this level. On the second day, we found a dead roach in our room near the writing desk, which was unpleasant.
Summary: Beautiful location and views, but service and room upkeep could be improved.

Positive: The beach was nice and the historic architecture of the hotel was very awe inspiring.
Negative: It took more than 10 mins for us to be seen by a our waitress at the restaurant. We paid a $70 resort fee for the weekend and it was definitely too much especially after the shoddy service at the restaurant. They need to drop the resort fee. The TV in our room did not work so we reported it to the front desk who said they would report it to maintenance. The TV was still not working when we left after the weekend so it appears it was not that a high priority. Also, the elevator was out of order. I felt bad for the folks who had to lug their bags up the stairs. I guess maintenance did not think that was a high priority either. Why is breakfast not included? Breakfast should be included after the price you pay to stay there.
Summary: I expected better for the price we paid.

Negative: Lack of convenient self serve coffee service in the main building. While I understand why the in-room coffee maker was situated in the bathroom, it makes brewing in room an unattractive option.

Positive: Sunrise View, Echo food, pool area, staff left a bottle of Brut in room for my husband’s birthday
Negative: Room is dated, furniture and bed lumpy and uncomfortable. Cushion smelled like vomit and nasty, bathroom too small, carpet felt sticky.

Positive: The bed was very comfortable, and the room opened up to a view of the pools and the ocean directly in front of the window. The accommodations were excellent.
Negative: I did not encounter anything negative during my stay at the King and Prince. The staff were all courteous, and I was very comfortable here.
Summary: For a one-night stay I couldn't have been more comfortable, and the view was fantastic.

Positive: The staff was amazing and the property location is awesome! The pool area and hot tubs were awesome. The view from the room was awesome and the balcony was also awesome! You can also tell someone spent time on the room decor. Additionally I dined at the restaurant multiple times and the food was tasty.
Negative: The room left a lot to be desired. It was past due for renovations and updates. There was a roach I. My shower on my second morning. The prices were on point for the type of resort advertised but the rooms did not line up with the beauty of the rest of the resort. I expected more luxury.

Negative: The room service was not efficient and did not clean well. Sand on the floor from the first day remained throughout our stay. We had to ask for service and supplies each day, which was quickly done but not unless we asked. Even then nothing was changed without request from us
